Hey, I’m Hiroki Zhang, the founder of ONIKAGE.
A lot of brands use fancy words to describe who they are.
I’d rather just tell you the truth.
I was born and raised in a small town in Northeast China — nothing special, just an ordinary kid with big dreams.
In 2019, I moved to Japan to study and start a new life. I didn’t know exactly where it would take me, but I knew I wanted to create something real.
Growing up, anime was more than entertainment — it shaped how I saw the world.
Later, living in Japan, I fell in love with the country’s street culture — the freedom, the confidence, the mix of art and life.
In 2024, I decided to bring those two worlds together and started ONIKAGE.
I never set out to build some giant global brand.
I just wanted to create something that feels true — where anime and streetwear could actually meet.
If you found your way here, I think you get what I mean.
This first year hasn’t been easy. We’ve faced challenges, mistakes, and lessons — but also thousands of supporters who believed in us.
Over 8,000 customers have joined the journey so far, and that means everything to me.
ONIKAGE isn’t perfect yet — but that’s okay.
We’ll keep improving, keep creating, and keep proving that dreams from small towns can go big.
Just like the heroes we grew up watching — we’re still writing our story, one step at a time.
